On Sept. 29th, ISD students went to the Yinzhou intangible cultural heritage experience hall as part of the Interaction Technology and Design Practices course, to learn about Yinzhou intangible culture, especially bamboo weaving. Meanwhile, YE Liangkang, the intangible cultural inheritor of bamboo weaving, was invited to share his knowledge of bamboo weaving, as well as to teach students to make bamboo handicrafts.
After today’s experience, students will be able to apply what they have learned into practical product design, weave Chinese stories from an international perspective, and design products for the world.
