The final round of the 2022 Oral Chinese Competition for International Students in Ningbo concluded successfully on November 4th. Under the guidance of Dr. LYU Hui, International School of Design (ISD), Ningbo Innovation Center, Zhejiang University, two of ISD students sailed into the final round, received a third reward and a recognition reward respectively. They are JENNIFER GOHUMPU from Malaysia, and KIBOLWE MULUNDULE YANNICK from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

 

The final round consisted two parts: a Chinese talent show and a Q&A session. With the soothing sound of piano, Jennifer recited the Facing the Sea with Spring Blossoms with full emotion, while Yannick expressed his deep love through his voice of the song I Love You, China. The wonderful performances of the two students were highly praised by the judges and audiences.
