During the World Design Organization (WDO)’s 34th General Assembly, held in London as part of the World Design Congress 2025, WDO members elected the Board of Directors for the 2025–2027 term, with Mr. Pradyumna Vyas, Senior Advisor of Design at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), appointed as President for the term.
In his remarks, Mr. Vyas highlighted the importance of design as a driving force for positive global change:
“This year’s Congress in London reminded us of the extraordinary potential of design when it is placed in service of people and planet. I am deeply honoured to assume the role of WDO President at this pivotal moment in our organization’s history, as design has indeed never been more relevant, or more necessary for addressing the complex challenges of our time.”
