Former Residence of Wang Yangming
 

The year 2022 marks the 550th anniversary of the birth of Wang Yangming. To commemorate this, Yangming's former residence, together with University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) and International School of Design (ISD) at Zhejiang University, Ningbo, held a lighting design exhibition, "Light of Mind". Dr. Wu Jiang, assistant professor from the Faculty of Science and Engineering at UNNC was in charge of the exhibition. Dr. Xue Mengru and Ms. Hu Yuqi from ISD were also involved in tutoring the students.
 

Malambo Lushomo and Masulani Bokola, students from ISD, also participated in the program and contributed their excellent works to the event.

Through field study and research of Yangming's cultural heritage, students put their learning into practice, accomplishing innovations in functionality, aesthetics, interaction design and technology integration.
 

Notably, Lushomo's design was permanently installed in Yangming's former residence to witness this meaningful collaboration.
