People live up to green mountains, green mountains will live up to people. We should implement the idea of ecological civilization and insist that clear waters and green mountains are invaluable assets. The 2023 World Environment Day provides an opportunity to call on governments, cities, organisations and industries to invest and implement solutions to end plastic pollution and create a circular economy.

 

As one of the main activities of 2023 World Environment Day, the "Ecological Rheology · Environment Symbiosis Driven by Design" Theme Exhibition was held in Guangzhou, China on 5 June 2023. This exhibition is the only exhibition event that officially registered on the official website of the United Nations Environment Programme in China. It is hosted by the World Eco-Design Conference (UN Consultative NGO), and organized by the National Eco-Industrial Institute (EIDI). It aims to explore the harmonious symbiotic relationship between human and environment through the perspectives of art, design and culture, and realize the coordinated development of human ecology, industry ecology and environment ecology.

 

 

The Arts Council of the World Eco-Design Conference (UN Consultative NGO) was officially established at the 5th UN Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDC5). For implementing cultural revitalization projects, developing global partnerships and cooperation and promoting the excellent cultures to the world, the art exhibition launched a donation event, and donated dozens of artworks for public benefit to the UN agencies.
