Led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and held annually on 5 June since 1973, World Environment Day has grown to be one of the largest global platforms for environmental outreach, environmental awareness, and environmental action. As 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day, UNEP has launched celebrations around the world, and about 870 various kinds of activities have been officially registered.

 

"Ecological Rheology·Environment Symbiosis Driven by Design" theme art exhibition, which is hosted by World Eco-Design Conference (UN Consultative NGO), is the only offcially registered exhibition in China and will be opened in Guangzhou, China on 5 June 2023. With environmental issues as the entry point, the theme art exhibition brings the works of nearly 50 famous artists from all over the world together to create and design works through new technologies, new materials, and new forms. This exhibition expresses concern and appeal for the environment and it also advocates harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature.
