Loving in early winter, accompanying with sweet happiness, on Dec 12, the grand opening of 2020 series of events of Guangzhou (China) Innovative Marriage Service Integrated Platform Construction was held in Eco-design Town.

This event is co-hosted by the Civil Affairs Bureau of Guangzhou Municipality, Guangzhou Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, and People’s Government of Conghua District, supported by Eco-design Town by providing open free venue, warm and delicate conference services including hotel accommodation, catering, pandemic prevention measures and security etc. for the event, being in accompany with new couples to witness their sweet love under the warm sunshine in winter.

In the afternoon on Dec 11, 30 couples of newlyweds arrived early in Eco-design Town, under blue sky and white clouds, with birdsong and scented by flowers, their greatest moments of a lifetime are record by cameras. An area of 10000m² outdoor lawn in the south of the Town’s conference center, provides sufficient space for newlyweds to perform, everything is so bright and harmonious, the considerate arrangement of lawn wedding photography are commended by attended wedding guests.

In the morning of Dec 12, along with cheerful and elegant live performance of violin, a group of 30 couples of newlyweds wearing wedding gowns and suits with happy smiles came up on stage and stepped into their most significant moments of their lifetime. As a simple wedding ceremony, the grooms lifted the veil for their brides, and exchanged vows in front of each other, making commitment of love and family responsibility.
 

In recent years, Eco-design Town has been constantly improving its level in providing large conference and event services. 

At present, the International Conference Center of Eco-design Town and its 10000m² lawn for outdoor events are completed and have come into service, the Town owning 100 guest rooms providing hot spring is equipped with high end furnished hotel, S.Resort is in soft opening this year, Liuxi Hot Spring Scenic Area has well-developed  a system providing accommodation and food services, leading the Town to formulate a favourable complex with three pillars of ecology, industry as well as culture and tourism progressively, infusing the power of ecology into the industry chain of wedding service in Guangzhou.

In the morning of the day, senior officials of the Department of Social Affairs of the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs, Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government etc., took part in the opening ceremony of Guangzhou (China) Innovative Marriage Service Integrated Platform, it symbolizes that the first national innovative marriage service integrated platform is officially landed.

It is allegedly that the Civil Affairs Bureau of Guangzhou Municipality is functioning well at its process of reformation and innovation during the period of the 13th Five-Year Plan, since Jan 2018, the approach of “Get Registered throughout the City”  to marriage registration in Guangzhou has been implemented, Guangzhou became the second city adopts the approach followed by Beijing, providing convenience to the general public and is widely praised.

Blossoms and Splendors at the First Public Welfare Exhibition for Wedding Planning and Customs Industry in the City
Guangzhou 2020 Exhibition for Wedding Planning and Customs Industry is located in the exhibition hall at level 1 of Eco-design Town conference center, it is the first public welfare exhibition for wedding planning and customs industry in the city.

The exhibition is for public welfare, it has 5 areas of Wedding Service, Wedding Customs & Culture, Destination Wedding, Wedding Banquet & Catering, Wedding Gowns & Suits, it exhibits contents about various service lobbies of Guangzhou marriage registration offices, hologram display of marriage certification, marriage and family counseling, traditional wedding custom of Lingnan (South of the Five Ridges), destination wedding planning, outfits for wedding banquet, wedding photography etc.

Warm Atmosphere in the First Exchange Meeting for the Development of Marriage Service and Wedding Planning Industry
In the afternoon of Dec 12, Guangzhou 2020 Exchange Meeting for the Development of Marriage Service and Wedding Planning Industry is carried out in the Conference Center of Eco-design Town, this is an initial meeting for exploration and exchange in the industry of wedding custom and culture, service and planning organized by the government.

Persons-in-charge of organizations in relevant industries, e.g. Guangdong Wedding Trade Association, Guangdong Marriage and Family Construction Association, Guangzhou Marriage and Family Construction Association, Destination Wedding Promotion Conference of Conghua District, Eco-design Town etc.attended the meeting.

In future, Eco-design Town will make the most of its advantages as an eco- back garden of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, take initiative to integrate local resources to develop wedding planning industry, organize camping wedding, underwater wedding, wedding fair, high-end forum etc on a regular basis, open the channel of “travel+wedding” upstream and downstream of the industry chain, drive the growth of “Sweet Economy”, strive to build up a destination for romantic wedding in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
