
In these days, when you walk into the World Eco-Design Town Conference Center, you will see dozens of colorful paintings and handicrafts full of childlike innocence and simplicity in the lobby.
Eco-Design Town Public Training Course of Creative Arts is a free art training course held for children in the surrounding areas with related resources in the Eco-Design Town and it is supported by UNIDO International Eco-Design Promotion Center and Wanqu Open University of Design.
Since the registration started in early August, the Public Training Course of Creative Arts has received enthusiastic responses from parents, and more than 600 children have registered. Among those children, 120 of them were selected to study in the training course. The students of the first training course have graduated on August 10th.
On August 12th, 40 children are about to study in the second public training course.
Eco-Design Town, the benchmark program for rural revitalization, brings plentiful benefits to the local residents, including the special “course” of Eco-Design Town which helps a lot in education of local teenagers.
The construction of Eco-Design Town has given a special name card for Conghua in international exchanges. Parents and their children also receive tangible benefits from it.
In the creative art course, children can discover beauty, experience beauty, and create beauty in the classroom of WEDC’s convention and exhibition center. Under the guidance of teachers, parents and their children had a pleasant and meaningful summer vacation in the world of art.
Opening Ceremony
Although all the children are new to the course, they are still bursting with curiosity great joy and curiosity in the opening ceremony, and experiencing the beauty of ecology here in this town and human ingenuity brought by the combination of creativity and design through the course.
Team up
All the children will team up according to their age and each team will have their unique name. And it is teamwork that brings sparks of creativity.
At the end of class, the staff of the town interviewed the students of the class, their parents and the representative teacher of the class about their opinion towards the course.

Now, I take my child here to attend the course, and I can also learn something new. I would continue to attend and pay more attention to these public training courses.”
“The intention of opening such a course is to provide more opportunities for children nearby to learn more about design creativity and art creation. We hope to transfer the thinking pattern of combining art and creativity together and help them to learn about creativity earlier.”
