A few days ago, the Quality Standard Laboratory of the EIDI held a working meeting on standardization construction. The meeting was presided over by Mr Wan Ran, the Vice President of the EIDI. More than 10 experts and scholars attended the meeting, including Cao Xianghui, Professor of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Hao Ninghui, Professor of Central Academy of Fine Arts, Wang Haiwen, Associate Professor of Wuhan Technology and Business University, and Yao Yousheng, Associate Professor from Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering.

 

The meeting focused on the working progress, problems and development direction of standardization construction. Vice President Wan Ran pointed out that standard is the technical support of economic activities and social development, and is an important aspect of the national basic system. The EIDI will implement the new concept of the "three products and one standard" (increase varieties, improve quality, create brands, and standardization) promotion plan, commit to the standard first and promote high-quality development. At the same time, the EIDI will also actively cooperate with various social parties to establish a standardization working committee or standard working group, to promote the construction of standardization work in the form of innovation and integration.

 

The meeting also discussed the working situation of the collective standard of "Digital Art and Design Collectibles and Value Evaluation System". "Part 1: General Principles" of the standard has been released and implemented on February 10, 2023. The specific contents of Collectibles Category, Technical Specifications, Artistic Value Evaluation, Social Responsibility Evaluation, and Business Valuation were discussed during the meeting, and it has provided a clear work plan for the standard moving forward.
