The International Conference on Innovation Design and Intelligent Engineering（IDIE2024） Successfully Held in Guangzhou!

At present, artificial intelligence, as the most remarkable new star in scientific and technological innovation, is profoundly reshaping the global order and development pattern. On December 14th, the 2024 International Conference on Innovative Design and Intelligent Engineering, jointly sponsored by the World Eco-Design Organization (UN Consultative Status NGO), Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Macau University of Science and Technology, and the Computer-Aided Product Innovation Design Engineering Center at the Ministry of Education, was held at the University City Campus of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Bo Fan, the president of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Guangzhi Song, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Committee, Fangtian Ying, the Fellow of the European Academy of Engineering, the Director General of the World Eco-Design Organization, and professor at Zhejiang University, Lingling Zhang, the national master of engineering survey and design and the Dean of School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Shenyang Jianzhu University, Makoto Watanabe, the vice president of Chiba University in Japan, Claude, professor at the Universite Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in France, Jihong Jeung, the chief researcher of the Future Laboratory at Tsinghua University, Fugee Tsung, the Acting Dean of the Information Hub at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), Yong Li, the dean of the Graduate School and the dean of the School of Industrial Design at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Xuan Xie, the director of the Research and Creation Department, Yuan Tu, the director of the Academic Affairs Office. There were about 500 participants, including experts, academics from domestic and international universities, and paper authors, attended the conference.. The conference was chaired by Guangzhi Song.

The sub-forums were chaired by professors such as Meiping Song from Dalian Maritime University, Qun Wu from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Ling Huang from Chongqing University, Xiaogang Zhang from Guangdong University of Technology, and Duan Wu from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.

Symposium Highlights

This international conference focuses on the intersection and integration innovation of "intelligence + design", gathering elite scholars and industry leaders in the fields of global innovative design and intelligent engineering. It has built a cross-field and cross-border communication platform, providing new ideas and new paths for exploring design education and practice in the intelligent age.
